Job Summary:


Shriners Hospitals for Children is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team! This position works on several newly funded projects studying the role of human LncRNA function in cartilage tissue engineering and homeostasis. Salary will follow NIH-designated guidelines for postdoctoral researchers. Interested individuals should provide a copy of their Curriculum Vitae, published examples of their research, and the names/contact information for three references.


Job Requirements


Required qualifications, skills and abilities:


- Must hold a Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, or biomedical engineering.


- Must be able to work independently 


- Has expertise in some of the following techniques: tissue/organ culture, cartilage tissue engineering, biophysical assessment of cartilage tissues, RNA-seq, ChIRP-seq, or single cell RNA-seq.


- Must also be able to efficiently write manuscripts describing the research findings for PI-mentored revision and submission for publication.


- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
