Job Description

Shriners Hospitals for Children - Galveston is the leader in the fields of acute burn injury treatment and rehabilitation. We are seeking a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

The RN is responsible for:

  • provides nursing care to patients within the nursing unit, utilizing special skills, knowledge and judgment in observing and reporting symptoms and condition of the patient.

  • administers highly specialized therapy with complicated equipment

  • gives medication and treatment under the direction of the physician

  • demonstrates clinical competence to the unit assigned

  • works closely with the Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) and Patient Care Assistants (PCA's) to ensure the orderly functioning of the unit.

RN in state of Texas


Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
