Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burns, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, and pediatric subspecialties medical center is looking for a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist with a passion for helping the pediatric population.


 


The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California’s online presence. The specialist will provide oversight, and will execute hospital digital efforts. Initial efforts will be focused on the development and support of our regional web presence as well as enhancing our presence on the hospital system website.  Responsibilities include: build and execute online content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, and drives awareness; develop and manage editorial calendar to deliver a high volume of assets that are mapped to business objectives; establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, proofing, publishing and retiring content;  content and media database management.

Job Requirements


Requires excellent project management skills to lead and complete projects, involving stakeholders and outside vendors, within budget and time constraints; proven writing and editing skills; and outstanding command of the English language.  Must have the ability to measure and analyze results and recommend adjustments to content to optimize performance and be familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies. B.A. in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience, and 3 years of direct work experience in digital marketing and content creation required.
