Shriners Children's Texas, the premier pediatric, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an immediate opening for a FT Physical Therapist in our Motion Analysis Center.
The focus of this position will be to perform state-of-the-art physical therapy evaluation, coupled with 3D Motion Capture, in the evaluation and assessment of pediatric patients with complex movement difficulties. Other job duties of the physical therapist will be to collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team in the development of evidence-based treatment planning for our patients. Through our dynamic team approach, you will work with pediatric patients from birth to 18 years of age with complex needs.
The Physical Therapist provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.
Provides comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care, a commitment to the achievement of optimal patient outcomes in alignment with the standards of practice of their professional organization.
Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.
