Job Requirements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics required.
  • Eligible PA License required; actively licensed in PA preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Certified Orthotist or Certified Prosthetist required, pediatric experience required.
  • One (1) year of Microsoft Office products or ability to learn patient information software required.
  • Participates in and integrates department activities with center-wide activities and philosophy.

Shriners Hospitals for Children®-Erie has a full time, benefit-eligible position available for our growing Pediatric Orthotic and Prosthetic Service line (POPS). Qualified candidates must be able to function independently and fulfill the professional responsibilities of a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. Experience using an Electronic Medical Record preferred with along with willingness to be trained in OPIE and VORUM (CAD) software programs. The candidate must possess strong teamwork, communication and program development skills.


Qualifications:
