Patient Care Assistant (part-time, days)

Shriners Children’s Ohio is well known for world-class burn care and is also a recognized leader in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery from routine to rare. Services are provided in a family-centered environment, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT
The Patient Care Assistant assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCA provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned. Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families. Assists with the planning and provision of structured, age appropriate activities for patients under the guidance or direction of a Child Life Therapist. Monitors children’s activities and maintains a safe physical and psychosocial environment for children.
The part-time, day shift position is 24 hours/week, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm + every 3rd weekend.
