The Patient Access Supervisor is a working supervisor who will oversee scheduling and registration functions for the outpatient clinic. Effectively utilizes the computerized appointment system
Demonstrates effective and age appropriate communication skills by phone and in person with patients, families, staff, Shriners and other visitors. Keeps current as the database is updated
and / or changed. This position manages patient access staff, assign tasks based on the needs of the clinic, monitor and manage patient access queues, provides training and education to patient access staff on changes in SHCIS, and identifies issues that need to be brought to the Patient Care Services attention.
High School Diploma/GED Required
Bachelor Preferred
3 Years Management/Supervisory Preferred
2 Years Microsoft Office and medical terminology Preferred
