Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury and pediatric subspecialties medical center, is looking for a highly motivated Outcomes Coordinator with a passion for helping the pediatric population to work in our Quality and Accreditation department.

The Outcomes Coordinator is responsible for overall maintenance of the clinical outcomes program as developed by Shriners Hospitals for Children Home Office in conjunction with the Hospital. This position works to collect and track clinically important patient outcome indicators and assists with translating results into clinical care of the patient and their families. This person is responsible for working with all clinical departments to capture data that improves clinical care, data entry and analysis, tracking patient visits and auditing the data for completeness and accuracy, and assisting with streamlining clinical processes related to Outcomes data collection.

Requires previous clinical data management experience, and be familiar with health delivery models, Research IRB protocols, and have expertise in healthcare processes. Must be computer literate with data management and proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and poses excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Bachelor degree in healthcare, engineering, statistics, public health or similar health care related field required. Masters degree in Public Health or similar field preferred.
