Nursing Supervisor

Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burns, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, and pediatric subspecialties medical center is looking for a highly motivated Nursing Supervisor with a passion for helping the pediatric population.

The successful candidate will be deeply committed to daily collaboration with the care team to promote and restore patient health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area. The candidate will direct and develop staff, ensure and support quality and performance improvement initiatives, and have a working knowledge of regulatory compliance. The candidate will support evidence-based practices, initiate and promote best practices, and support growth and learning of the staff.

Job Requirements

The candidate must have strong communication skills, and be fluent with working in a multidisciplinary team. CA RN License and CPR certificate required.  Must be able to obtain PALs certification within 6 months. Bachelors of Nursing required or AS in nursing with current enrollment in a BSN program may be considered.  Previous managerial experience in a pediatric setting preferred. Specialty certification and  Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
