Orthopaedic Clinical Research Coordinator


Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury and pediatric subspecialties medical center, is looking for a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to become part of our Orthopedic Clinical Research Team.


A full time position is available to help coordinate study activities for a variety of funded and unfunded Orthopaedic protocols.


Primary responsibilities include preparing Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewals and modifications, uploading IRB documents and subject accrual information in a centralized database (OnCore), inputting data in OnCore, and developing and maintaining subject study files.  Secondary duties include assisting with patient accrual, obtaining informed consent, and collection of clinical research data.


This position is grant funded and subject to renewal.

Job Requirements

Critical thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organized record keeping abilities are essential.  Knowledge of computer applications – spreadsheet and word processing – are required.  Previous clinical research experience and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
