REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of proven web development experience, with emphasis on interactive front-end user experiences and email marketing, required
- Intermediate front-end web development experience w/ HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript / AJAX required
- Intermediate experience with PHP programming required
- Experience or familiarity with relational databases and statistical data analysis (strong to intermediate skills in SQL a plus) required
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, design or equivalent experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- WordPress integration, design
- Advanced knowledge of EMMA Email Marketing tool and email marketing requirements
- User navigation, interface design, content layout and SEO information architecture
- Cross-platform web usability, responsive/mobile interface interaction design
- Creative, technical and analytical skills, communicate effectively in technical, business environments
- Effective written and oral communication skills for department heads and stakeholders
- Attention to detail with the ability to understand and carry-out directions and instructions
- “Motivated, Self-starter” with the desire to work in a strong, creative, team-orientated environment
- Task management skills with the ability to multi-task

The “Digital Projects Specialist will execute and maintain current web site properties to include interactive landing pages, fundraising campaigns, donation pages, and future website projects that support the organization’s mission of helping children world-wide. The Digital Projects Specialist will also be involved in creating, editing, scheduling and delivering marketing email items to support active fundraising campaigns.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating, maintaining and enhancing web assets (websites, landing pages, applications)
- Maintaining and creating email marketing assets
- Provide support to different email marketing campaigns for all hospitals
- Develop automated email campaigns by working closely with Donor Relations and the Digital team
- Provide valuable long term strategy for continued growth
- Become the resident expert on segmentation and suppression logic
- Work closely with the Digital team to further Shriners email efficiency and list management
- QA testing of websites, email marketing campaigns, engaging focus/user groups
- SEO best practices
- Collaborate with project timelines
- Exhibit positive attitude with high set of creative standards
