One to three years relevant clinical experience in a healthcare environment.
One to three years EMR experience preferred.
Working knowledge of computers with Microsoft applications.

Shriners Hospital for Children Medical Center - Lexington, KY has an opening for a part-time, (20 hours per week, 40 per pay period), Clinical Analyst.
The Clinical Analyst participates in the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of SHCIS in all areas of the Medical Center.

Responsibilities include:
- Participates in the planning and development of hospital specific SHCIS application information. These activities may include data collection, documentation of processes, participation in project teams, etc
- Communicates application information, training and process redesign to Medical Center management and end users.
- Provides local user support on SHCIS. Responds appropriately to requests and concerns from users or others affected by the system. Primary trouble shooting contact for the SHCIS system.
- Assists with the development of future processes in conjunction with Medical Center administration and clinical teams.
- Provides training and assistance as required in support of the informational needs of the Medical Center.
